Which phones support eSIM?

Most iPhones from XS/XR onward, Google Pixel 3 and newer, recent Samsung Galaxy S, Z and some A series models, and many newer Android phones. Phones bought locked to a carrier must be unlocked first.

Can I scan the QR code on the same phone?

Usually you scan it from a second screen or a printout. Many phones also let you enter the activation code manually or long-press the QR image in the email.

Will I keep my WhatsApp number?
